Welcome!

Welcome! I’m Emily, the girl behind the lens. I’m 23 and live in the gorgeous city of Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been exploring and loving this city for about 5 years since I graduated high school in Toledo, Ohio. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2019 where I met the most amazing creatives (including my wonderful boyfriend, Daniel) and learned the ins and outs of photography.

I’ve been doing photography for about ten years (cue middle school flashbacks) but have been doing it full time for the last two years. Fashion and beauty photography fuels my creativity and I absolutely LOVE what I do. 

When I’m not shooting, I’m probably eating pizza, smiling at every dog I see (creepy I know), jammin’ Dua Lipa, or binging Broad City.

But anyway, back to the blog. Here you’ll find photography tips and tricks, behind the scenes, Chicago life, hopefully, some travel (let’s see how 2021 goes first), and overall insight into Emily Davis Studio!
